“KPMP is making great strides in spatial transcriptomics being anchored to histology. There is a lot of value in blending the physical space of histology with the transcriptomics expression space. We are probably just scratching the surface. So there are very exciting times ahead, which will provide a powerful second wind for histology. A lot of that will map over to opportunities for transplantation biology. It is possible to directly impute molecular from histology. Histology becomes a direct surrogate for molecular in some instances.”
